Our client is a global organisation with UK headquarters based in central London. They are now seeking an experienced Financial Accountant with US GAPP knowledge for a 12 month contract..

Skills

• Strong technical (US GAAP) and corporate financial accounting expertise

• Month end close experience (Journals and reconciliations)

• Financial statement preparation, VAT, Corporate tax.

• Strong communication, presenting and Excel skills

• Oracle Financials or similar

• Qualified Financial Accountant

Responsibilities

• Maintain financial records and ensure that financial transactions are properly recorded.

• Ensure the accuracy of entries to ledger accounts and reconcile subsidiary ledger accounts to the general ledger.

• Prepare balance sheets, profit and loss statements and other financial reports.

• Analyse current costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations incurred to predict future revenues and expenses.
